What is the job, we have listed the key attributes and duties below.
Ideally you have some training towards being a Conveyancer or are already qualified. You will work with Brenda, the Owner. You will support Brenda in the running of the Notary office with a focus on Conveyancing, once you have the required knowledge you will be responsible for preparing, drafting and helping manage conveyancing documents and preparing conveyancing correspondence for Redman Notary. Other duties will be obtaining, sorting, filing and verifying documents for completion, dealing and closing final reporting requirements/documents and responding and communicating with all conveyancing inquiries on a timely basis. As the Conveyancer, you will be asked to answer telephone calls and follow up on conveyancing documents with Agents, reply and follow up of all conveyancing related emails, phone calls or in-person inquiries. This role is Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm but does offer some flexibility.
The successful candidate will have the right attitude towards working as part of a growing business. Ideally some office experience would be helpful and a willing attitude to learning.
What you bring with you:
Ability to learn and eventually handle most of the conveyance files per month for the Notary.
Precise attention to detail
Excellent MS Office Skills and knowledge of E-Conveyance or another Conveyancing software is an asset
Flexibility to work with changing priorities under pressure
